The military world ranking system was introduced by the ancient Greeks in 501 BC and the same had gone through a lengthy of stages namely:
1. Prehistoric

The most military organization widely practiced consists of command and control doctrine, education and training, intelligences. Technology and equipment and supply chain. Additionally, the British ranking system widely practiced and used in parts of the world are the following:

Internationally, each unit of the army have their respective insigma, in other the land forces, the navy forces and the air forces have their own insigma. Also war heroes either still alive or died are have their especial insigma.
The military ranking system was introduced in order to provide task and duty to the holder of each rank that means each of the ranks listed above are tasked to a particular duty different than the other one, depending qualification, number of years of military services and the training type provided.
The same is also determines the wages and the allowance of each rank. It also provides a hierarchy system or in other words, the relationship between the various ranks.
The ranks also give the authority for the number of the solders and the unit the rank holders’ commands. The ranks accrued either by qualification of the length of services. For instance the llieutenant may have 2-3 years experience, whereas the sergeant may have ten years experience. A military force without ranking system is just like a militia.
In the case of Somali-land, even though we declared our independence 22 years ago, however, only the current government, which is only three years in office, have introduced the ranking for all forces for the various forces, the military, the police, the navy, the jail police (Custodial Corps) and immigration directorate.
The first batches of the ranks were distributed several months ago and last batch for 10,000.00 men and women were already distributed few days ago as announced by the defence minister through the media. The last achievement attained the current government. In reality, this is considered, as a national pride to all of us. No doubt that, all citizens shares with me that visualization
