Somaliland government treats with our people like animals in a zoo that have no rights, rule the country like the law of the jungle that, the strong eats the weak, & injustices speaks louder than justices
Somaliland People across the world both local and overseas express deep concern and deep disappointment for the injustices and dictatorship system for the current government that violated the rights of every true citizen of Somaliland. In every part of the world, law and order exist for establishing justice, but when is violated, it become dangerously that block the flow of social progress and where the law ends dictatorship begins. Laws are made for one thing alone to treat people equally, consider that no one is above the law and no is below the law or violating the law like current Somaliland government and unjust law is itself a species of violence. Where the law is uncertain like the present Somaliland government, there is no law or justice system. Saed Mohamed Gahayr who is just released from illegal imprisonment was a prisoner of consciousness and voice for those who their rights were denied by the current government. Saed did nothing except defending the voiceless helpless citizens. He did nothing except speaking for the voiceless that, their land and their property looted by the current government. The current government has evocated by force and through the muscle power the land near Hargeisa airport that they used to live over decades and this government did not compensate their land which was forcibly evocated from them despite the fact, the government of Kuwait funded the airport extension and contributed more than ten million US dollars as brotherly assistances. Unfortunately, majority of the fund provided by Kuwait government gone to the personal account of the former aviation minister, the current presidential office minister, Mohamoud Hashi who is the one behind the illegal arrest of Saed Mohamed Gahayr, a young poet that his poetry inspires the hearts and the minds of every true citizen of this country. The funds provided by brotherly country, Kuwait become the weapon to harm and loot large land and property owned by tens of voiceless people near Hargeisa airport.
Saed Mhamed Gahayr proved is true independent Somaliland writer who refused to sell his moral in return of money., Where there is injustice, there is no peace or progress and if you want peace, work the against injustice for the current dictatorship system like the way young Saed Mhamed Gahayr fought the injustices committed by this so-called government against the voiceless and helpless citizens. Saed refused to bow down the harassment, the intimidation and the injustices imposed to him by the current government. This government can arrest our people illegally but they cannot arrest the brain of our people. A law is valuable not because it is law, but because there is right in it. Democracy, justices and equality under the law are not in the books in this government. Corruption and looting public assets broke any records in the past. Tribalism which is the sources of conflicts, setback, under development, civil wars and all the types of violence become the major policy of this government. Resources of this country is in the hands of few tribal minded elements of this government and this led Somaliland closer to political crisis and deterioration. This government divided Somaliland citizens into many categories namely A class, B class, C class and D class. A class and B class have all the privileges while C and D class are denied all the basic rights. When someone discriminate his people into many classes, he violets the basic rights and the dignity of humanity. Discriminating you’re your people into many class which is worst kind of discrimination or new form of racism. Political Power sharing is not in the books of this government and heavy influential positions of the government are in the hands of certain of Somaliland population.
The English saying wolf In Sheep’s clothing is based on true experiences. Wolf in Sheep’s clothing mean a wolf believing he was a lamb. When the shepherd locked the flock behind the gate at night the wolf thought he was clear to eat all the sheep he wanted. Wolf in sheep’s clothing simply means someone who is pretending to be something they are not. When the wolf and the lamb graze together; the wolf eats the lamp. Additionally, animals kept in the zoos have no rights as everything that makes their lives meaningful is denied and every aspect of their lives is controlled. They have practically had no choice in what or when they eat, whom they mate with, or whom they share space with. They are kept in cages that don’t come close to resembling the jungles and forests that are their natural homes. A zoo is inherently unnatural atmosphere. Likewise, the current Somaliland government behaves to our people like the above situation which mean like animal in the zoo. Correspondingly, this government has systematically violated the human rights of Somaliland people and even denied the basic rights of our people and law only exist in paper, but not in practise.
When the law is violated, the rights of others is denied and even though, the safety of the people shall be the highest law, however, applying the law is not in the books of this government. Any law that violates the rights of others is unjust and tyrannical; it is not a law at all and even though the individual rights are the means of subordinating society to moral law. In this government, the political power, the gun and the money, determines the he right and injustices speaks louder than justices. When a hyena is judge, the goat has no right, an African proverb. Similar circumstances practised by the current Somaliland government to its people. The injustices committed by the current government against its people boils us internally like the way a temperate of boiling point boils the water. In short, the basic rights of our people are constantly violated by the ruling government as they behaved to our people like the law of the jungle whereby the muscle power regulates who is right, the strong eats the weak and the poor portion of the society are deprived their minimum rights.
